Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Stone Mountain School is an innovative therapeutic boarding school for A.D.H.D., L.D., and N.L.D. boys ages 11-17.  Stone Mountain School provides world-class interventions in and out of the classroom utilizing adventure therapy, equine therapy, and a state-of-the-art academic team with assistive technology.  

As a Field Instructor you will provide the students with structure & consistency so that they will learn independent living skills.  Stone Mountain School offers two distinctive employment opportunities: adventure & residential. Adventure staff will facilitate backpacking, climbing, bouldering, flat water canoeing, trail work, & other wilderness activities. Residential staff will support the students while on campus doing service projects, school work, athletic events, day trips to local areas, & other creative experiences.

Stone Mountain School is looking for confident, flexible & enthusiastic leaders to be part of an innovative team.   High School diploma or G.E.D. required.  College level courses in social sciences preferred.  First Aid/CPR, lifeguard, wilderness first responder certificates a plus.  BA/BS degree ideal, experience may substitute. Request at least a one year commitment.
