Outdoor Activities and Events Internship in Chiang Mai, Thailand!
Internship description Track of the Tiger is an organization based in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand that has been operating within the tourism industry for more than 20 years.
We are seeking a young, confident and enthusiastic intern to assist in the running of outdoor activities, team building, community projects, English-camps and special events for multinationals, international schools, Thai schools and volunteer groups.
The appropriate candidate would be someone with outdoor skills (climbing, trekking) and an appropriate level of fitness, and also confident and professional enough to be the point-person / project manager for groups. This requires an ability to manage people, processes, operations and client relationships simultaneously. The role will be varied and interesting and also include some marketing and management training.
Additionally, the intern will be responsible for setting up new and permanent outdoor adventure activities/equipment/challenges at our Pang Soong Lodge Outdoor Education and Research Centre.
We are looking for someone to fill a one-year post starting late 2008 or early 2009. Covered in the internship package are return flights, accommodation, meals and visas, plus the intern will receive a small stipend/allowance.
