Option for Teacher Certification in Environmental Studies/Secondary Education

A Northland Outdoor Education student records data during a field exercise. Students within the Outdoor Education/ Natural History major have the option of structuring their program to result in Wisconsin teacher licensure in Environmental Studies/ Secondary Education grades 6-12.  In order to exercise this option refer to the PDF version of the Northland College Catalog and complete the list of courses under the Environmental Studies/Secondary Education heading.

This program should begin no later than the first semester of the sophomore year in order to insure completion within the standard four-year format.  (Assumes a minimum of 14 successful credits completed each long term and four spring courses.)  All teacher certification standards apply.
