An Important Announcement for All Students!
11/8/01

Acting upon the recommendation of the Assessment Committee, the Academic Council voted for the immediate dissolution of the current student portfolio system.  The recommendation was based on (1) the paucity of useful assessment information gleaned from portfolios, (2) the extreme amount of resources required to maintain the system, and (3) the difficulties imposed by making an administrative function a graduation requirement.
